U.S. Navy Rescues Iranian Sailors After A 45 Day Ordeal

Amidst all the saber-rattling and Iranian threats of closing down the Straights of Hormuz an irony unfolds. Sailors from the U.S.S. Kidd rescued 13 Iranian sailors from a hijacked fishing vessel, reports CNN.

A team from the U.S.S. Kidd boarded the Al Molai taking 15 suspected pirates and freeing 13 Iranian fishermen. Apparently, Somali pirates had taken the Al Molai 40 to 45 days ago.
