Streamlight Brightens Its Line of Weapon Mounted Lights.

It’s been public knowledge that the only way to deal with the zombie explosion is with a head shot. However, is it possible that a blast of 200 or more lumens will do them in? That must certainly be the case because all of the established and highly regarded tactical lighting manufacturers are cranking up outputs and Streamlight®, of Eagleville, PA is among them.

The well-established TLR-1™ family of weapon mounted lights will now have an even more powerful counterpart the TLR-1 HP™ and TLR-1s HP™

The TLR-1 HP™ and TLR-1s HP™ features 200 lumens of highly collimated white light, for which Streamlight is highly regarded, and a run time of 1.75 hours. Both lights are mountable on industry standard Picatinny rail systems and ship with a selection of rail locating keys to accommodate any rail system. The lights are available with the standard door switch or a remote door switch, and both are IPX7 waterproof.

Streamlight was well ahead of its competition in recognizing the need for a weapon mounted light complementary to the increasing numbers of small frame firearms entering the market. In response to that trend, the company launched its highly successful TLR-3™. Now in 2012, Streamlight has added the TLR-4™ to the TLR family of products. Like its predecessor, the TLR-4 has the same small footprint as the TLR-3, but includes a Class 1 red aiming laser operating in the 640 – 660 nm wavelength.
