Our friend over at the Firearm Blog have reported that President Elect Vladimir Putin has authorized development of taser weapons.
This is good news because it means we will see a 75 round drum magazine for electrodes!

Ken, I’m not sure that you can buy it commercially. It is being developed for military and law enforcement use as part of an enhancement program for less lethal technologies. Sorry, but maybe in the future you’ll see a version on the shelves.
