Can You Say Photochromic?

A large part of the design problem associated with bringing gear to the soldier operator is ensuring that the system being introduced does not get in the way of the job, and eye protection is a clear example of that. Soldiers involved in search and destroy or clearing operations continuously transition from extreme bright light to near complete darkness as they move in and out of dwellings or caves.
