Democrats are making increasingly explicit threats about their willingness to let nearly $600 billion worth of tax hikes and spending cuts take effect in January unless Republicans drop their opposition to higher taxes for the nation’s wealthiest households.
One of the headlines in today’s Washington Post, and the only reason that it made to this Blog is that it graphically illustrates where voter focus should be this election year. With 26 or 27 seats up for grabs it probably wouldn’t hurt to get some folks into the job who approach it with the attitude that they are there to serve the electorate. Allowing sequestration to kick in will damage an already ailing economy and destroys our national defense posture.
