The 2013 Counterterrorism Calendar

The Holidays have now passed into history. You had a tactical Christmas, and you even received the much coveted Hot Shot Calendar. So, what’s next? Look to the folks at the National Counterterrorism Center.

The NCTC has published its 11th edition of the Counterterrorism Calendar. It is a 5 x 9 spiral bound reference packed full of information but quite difficult to get in its desk planner incarnation.

The calendars are a resource for individuals engaged in anti-terror operations; especially those working in the field. In it you’ll find tips for dealing with biological and chemical incidents, “suspicious financial activity indicators,” or people using false passports. You wont get any eye candy but you will gain a wealth of information. Oh, did I mention that conspicuously absent from the 2013 edition is UBL

As I said earlier, you won’t be able to get the bound copy, unless you are plugged in. However, an on-line version will be published on the NCTC Web site.

If this is your first exposure to the NCTC calendar, download the 2012 version below. It’s a worthwhile read.
