Ran across UA’s Tactical Softshell Jacket, which I give a resounding thumbs up. The garment has slanted deep pockets that make accessing the contents a snap. The jacket is cut for a loose fit with a full length zipper; making it ideal for use with a low profile plate carrier or low profile chest rig. The right sleeve is accented with a pocket suitable for a smartphone, and a generous loop panel for unit or moral patches. It’s made from a polyester / elastane blend that gives it a great four way stretch (vertical and horizontal), which all but eliminates binding. You have no esoteric fabric blends just an effective and functional garment at a pretty good price.
