I’m not entirely sure how credible this is, but Advanced Ballistics Concepts will be announcing the Mi-Bullet at SHOT SHOW 2014, in Las Vegas. The design allows for the projectile to expand as soon as it leaves the muzzle. It doesn’t simply expand a little it expands to 10” when fired from a pistol and up to 24” when fired from a shotgun. It’s how the bullet fragments are held together that gets me laughing – just a little. I couldn’t find them on the list of exhibitors and navigating to their web site was not possible. Nonetheless here’s a video describing the technology, if for no other reason than pure entertainment.
