Going back a few years, I remember being at the Burroughs Range, Ft. Benning GA, hanging out with the NCOIC while they setup FLIR for a night shoot. It was around 01:00 and bone chilling cold so it took a little bit of time for the equipment to become acclimated. We switched from white hot to black hot a couple of times to get the best image possible when all of the sudden this huge pig comes out of the tree line and decides to root around the target area. Very cool indeed.
With EOTech’s introduction of the X320 Thermal Imager pig hunters will have the same capability at a $3,799 price point. This is good news indeed and will make that pig hunt an amazing experience.
