As we close out 2014, it is easy to see we are in a much different place than we were 12 months ago. The demand has slowed greatly allowing many firearms industry manufactures to finally put a dent in the huge back logs we have carried the last 2 years. We certainly still have several bullets that are not available, but we are finally down to the 3rd tier (slower selling) bullets and keeping the top sellers on the shelf and available.
We hope to begin 2015 with the majority of our bullets back in stock and the rest coming right behind them. We also will be introducing our new Tipped MatchKing line to the market, which many customers have been asking us to make for many years. We see 2015 as being closer to a “normal” year, which will allow us to get back to developing new products instead of simply making as many of the current line as we can.
The production capacity we built while demand was high will certainly help us with new product development and availability going forward. We would like to see all customers walk into the bullet isle and see no empty spaces and see them buying the bullets they really want instead of the only box they have in your caliber. As William Cowper so perfectly put it – “Variety is the spice of life.” What a boring world it would be with only one bullet or caliber to choose from.
We certainly want to thank all our customers for their patience during the recent run on products. It was just as frustrating for us to have customers wanting something we could not provide as it was for you waiting for them. We hope this time is behind us and we can all get back to a normal supply and demand situation that keeps the shelves brimming with the bullets you all know and crave.
