Savage Arms enjoys a reputation for building the most accurate rifles available right out of the box. Over the last few years, the company has been upgrading their Model 10 and 110 rifles, sold under the company’s Law Enforcement Series. The new Model 10BA and 110BA rifles are sporting an advanced aluminum chassis. Savage is also offering the Model 10 and 110 in a McMillan or HS Precision stock. Very nice rifles and they are shooters.
The talk of Shot Show was the new Savage A17. This is a 17HMR delayed blowback autoloader. It is the first successful delayed blowback design for the magnum rimfire cartridges. The A17 has an M.S.R.P. of $465 and they’ll be on the trucks in March. Great rifle!
