I picked one up a couple of month’s ago because of its very basic and functional form. I wanted something that didn’t weigh much, that was easy to don and doff, would accommodate soft or rifle plates and retain the ability to be highly configurable. The Grey Ghost Gear Minimalist plate carrier met that criteria. It’s sized perfectly for three HSGI TACO Double Decker across the front along with an abundance of PALS webbing on the back for a hydration carrier or what have you. The Minimalist Plate Carrier is very comfortable and breathable also.
