Steiner has just released their Intelligent Combat Sight or ICS. The ruggedized sight features and integrated laser range finder, weapon sight and ballistic computer optimized for the 7.62x51mm cartridge.
The ICS is a fixed 6 x 40 optic and true electro-optical aiming device that provides trajectory compensation out to 800 meters by automatically calculating the point-of-aim based on ammunition ballistics, measured distance and angle to the target.
The scope’s internal computer and inclinometer calculates holdover at the measured distance and provides a bright red dot aiming solution in seconds – all at the push of a button.
It is optimized for the 7.62x51mm but can easily be configured for 5.56mm, 300 Blackout and .300 Win Mag cartridges.
The ICS has a Picatinny base on top of its housing, which allows for the addition of a CQB sight, and a back-up iron sight on the right side as an auxiliary sighting option.
