Ruckersville, VA. – Ashbury Precision Ordnance (APO) Manufacturing is introducing a new model in the combat proven TACT3 Tactical Tripod product line. Now joining the TACT3’s GP, S, Q, QEL and SEL models is the new Accupoint. Developed for tactical field use, the TACT3 Accupoint allows fine independent vertical and horizontal movement control of tactical optics weighing up to ten pounds. The TACT3 Accupoint is amagnetic and compatible with all electro-optical devices incorporating a digital magnetic compass. The TACT3 Accupoint is manufactured from high strength aerospace grade aluminum alloys and is lightweight and compact. The TACT3 tripod base features a terrain leveling gimbal and has legs that are wide and stable. Collapsed the tripod is 18.5 inches long and weighs 3.5 pounds. The TACT3 Accupoint is hard coat anodized, with a rugged dull gray non-reflective finish.
The TACT3 Accupoint provides users employing high magnification spotting scopes, night vision, thermal imaging devices and CCTV cameras a stable field platform that can be precisely pointed both horizontally and vertically in a lightweight compact package.
