Desert Tech has announced M.S.R.P for the company’s MDR, widely celebrated as the most advanced bullpup design on the market. The MDR will be offered in two calibers, 5.56 x 45 and 7.62 x 51, and will hit the stores at $1,999 and $2,249 respectively.
The MDR is a sleeper featuring revolutionary ambidextrous controls and improved ejection but under the hood it is a precision rifle featuring one of the best triggers right out of the box. Desert Tech’s bullpup offers interchangeable barrel assemblies as well as magazine wells with future caliber conversion kits that include 300 Blk, 7.62 x 39, 6.8 SPC and .22 LR . Conversion kits for 5.56 NATO will be priced at $749 and $999 for 7.62 NATO. Prices for the 7.62 x 39, 6.8 SPC and .22LR kits are TBD as of this writing.
Product availability has not been nailed down yet but production is shooting for early 2016.
