Bergara USA to relocate facility to Lawrenceville, Georgia, effective March 14, 2016.
Lawrenceville, Ga. (March 2016) – Bergara USA, a division of Blackpowder Products, Inc. (BPI Outdoors), announces it will be moving with its parent company BPI Outdoors to a new master facility in Lawrenceville, Georgia, located approximately 20 miles northeast of Atlanta – effective March 14, 2016.
“While we’re moving, we aren’t moving too far. At just six miles away, we’re practically right down the street from our old facility, except now we’ll have room to grow, bring all the brands under one roof and facilitate all our manufacturing requirements,” said Dudley McGarity, CEO of BPI Outdoors.
This new facility for BPI and its family of brands, including CVA, Bergara Rifles & Barrels, Dead Air Armament, DuraSight, Quake and PowerBelt Bullets, is located six miles from BPI’s current home in Duluth, Georgia. BPI’s new facility will boast over 100,000 square feet of state-of-the-art manufacturing, assembly and distribution, as well as the corporate offices. BPI will officially close the current Duluth facility the week of March 14 to conduct the move. Bergara USA will resume operations at the new facility beginning the week of March 21.
