Not content to rest on his laurels, Max Michel wrote his name into the Guinness Book of World Records for his action-pistol shooting. He knocked down 6 steel plates in 2.05 seconds from the draw with his 9mm SIG SAUER P320® Pistol. He then unofficially broke his own world record on October 21 posting an amazing 1.91 second time on his first run. This was documented while doing a demonstration, with TV camera’s rolling and in front of over 400 spectators at an Honored American Veterans Afield (HAVA) disabled veteran range event at the San Antonio Police Training Academy.

“While Max’s skill and proficiency with a pistol is well known in the shooting sports world, his latest performance transcends the competitive arena and places it squarely in the public domain.” Said Tom Taylor, Chief Marketing Officer & Executive Vice President, Commercial Sales. There are many great shooters out there, but a Guinness World Record title adds documented validity and notoriety, elevating Max’s credentials to an even higher level of distinction. And he topped off his year by unofficially setting the bar even higher, shattering his own world record at a disabled veterans event. The fact that Max gives his time to attend events such as this just solidifies that he is not only a world class shooter, but a world class good guy.”
