(Wyoming) – Now is the time for shooters to book their exclusive training experience! LUCID Optics, manufacturer of the best value line of optics on the market, is proud to release details for its first LUCID Long Range Shooting Clinic of 2018.
This first clinic will be held on April 28 at The Private Range Complex at King B Farm, a world class training facility located in Ardmore, TN, just outside of Nashville. LUCID’s expert guest instructor will be pro-shooter and Master Sergeant Jim Gilliland, a recently retired Army veteran with an extensive list of both military and civilian accomplishments. Gilliland’s impressive experience during his Army career and as a civilian trainer and professional consultant give him a unique edge and valuable perspective as an instructor. The expertise Gilliland brings combined with the beautiful property and cutting-edge range facility will offer shooting enthusiasts a dream opportunity.
The clinic will be divided into two sections including classroom time and range time. During the in-class portion, Gilliland will give a presentation covering the following topics: course introduction, equipment selection, rifle maintenance, precision shooting mechanics, ballistic basics, environmental basics, quality spotting and understanding optical units of measure. Afterwards, attendees will put their new knowledge into practice at the range with exclusive on-site training from Gilliland. Topics for range time will include a safety brief, proper zeroing, scope manipulation, cold bore/grouping drills and shooting drills. The range time will conclude with a competitive performance test among the shooters.
The cost to attend the clinic is $1,100 per person. The participants will be training with the Lucid MLX 4.5-18×44 FFP rifle scope and mount, which they will keep after completing the clinic. Attendees may bring their own rifle or use a Remington rifle that will be provided.
