In June 2018, Howard Leight, now a Honeywell company, introduced a new and improved version of the original Howard Leight Impact Sport electronic earmuffs marketed as the Impact Sport BOLT. The BOLT retains all of the comfort and compactness of the original Impact Sport but feature a revved up the electronics package to deliver excellent audio amplification and an impulse noise attack time of .5 milliseconds.
