Handgun 103

This intensive one-day class builds upon and refines the skill sets previously established in Handgun 102 while also introducing shooters to new drills, cutting edge concepts, and core shooting principles.

Students will discuss and learn the fundamentals of moving then shooting, receive in depth training on malfunctions and how to clear them, learn different reloading techniques, discuss different sight picture options and how they relate to speed and distance, learn one handed shooting techniques and get comprehensive training in foundational handgun marksmanship.

SIG SAUER 516 Rifle Armorer

February 17

The program content focuses on the mechanical functioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and field repair of the SIG SAUER 516 platform. This is a hands-on program that teaches and guides each participant through all armorer operations, step by step with the instructor. The curriculum enables armorers to develop a maintenance program on the inspection and servicing of the SIG SAUER 516 platform for their agency. Following successful program completion, certification/re-certification to perform these procedures is valid for a period of three (3) years.

Handgun 101

New gun owners seeking familiarity and comfort, as well as those wanting to try something different and learn a new skill, will find this course to be the perfect foundation. This comprehensive course provides hands-on training and the basic knowledge necessary to safely handle, load, fire, and maintain most types of semi-automatic pistols. This course may also meet and/or exceed the training requirements of many states and localities to apply for concealed carry permits.

Cold Weather Carbine

February 28

Taught only in the winter months in New Hampshire, Cold Weather Carbine is designed to test and improve the skills of the rifle/carbine user in the cold weather environment. This course focuses on range exercises wearing cold weather equipment and how it changes the interaction with the rifle. Students will be challenged throughout the course to meet strict time standards on drills, culminating with a final exercise on the Jungle Run.

SIG SAUER P365 Armorer

This course focuses on the mechanical functioning, disassembly/reassembly, maintenance, troubleshooting, and field repair of the SIG SAUER P365 pistol.

This is a hands-on program that teaches and guides each participant through all armorer operations step by step with the instructor. Active participation coupled with question and answer periods provide a supportive learning environment for maximum retention of the material. The course is also well suited for law enforcement armorers to design their agency’s own maintenance and inspection program. Maintaining current practices and procedures for factory authorized service is essential for all pistols. A three (3) year factory certification is issued upon successful course completion.

TThe program content focuses on the mechanical functioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and field repair of the SIG SAUER MPX platform.

This is a hands-on program that teaches and guides each participant through all armorer operations, step by step with the instructor. Active participation in disassembly and assembly procedures coupled with question and answer periods provide the type of learning environment favorable for the retention of the material. Written and practical exams are administered to test the working knowledge of each participant. The curriculum enables armorers to develop a maintenance program on the inspection and servicing of the SIG SAUER MPX platform for their agency. Following successful program completion, certification/re-certification to perform these procedures is valid for a period of three (3) years.

Tactical Patrol Supervisor

March 11: Loveland, OH (Armed Professionals Only)

Designed for the senior patrolman, corporal, sergeant, lieutenant, or other LE supervision who may find themselves in command of an immediate short time duration tactical situation.

This course will place them in leadership roles and teach them how to manage barricaded suspects, building searches, “suicide by cop” attempts, active shooter response, and downed officer rescue situations. The course also includes a ballistics demonstration. No ammunition or specialized equipment is needed to attend. This is a hands-on physical course requiring active participation, dress appropriately in duty or tactical attire. This course bridges the crucial gap while waiting for SWAT to respond where decisive instant action may be required to save lives.
