Hear Andrew Pahutski, a highly qualified expert to the Under Secretary of Acquisition and Sustainment Ellen Lord, and David Stapleton, director of Trusted Capital, as they discuss regulations to counter adversarial foreign investment and offer an overview of what businesses can do to protect themselves, including:
* Awareness: Companies in the U.S. defense industrial base can be vulnerable to capital from foreign adversaries seeking a technological advantage, especially during moments of economic uncertainty.
* Education: The Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States is among protective measures to guard against adversarial foreign investment and was recently strengthened.
* Tools: Among help available to industry are Trusted Capital events. These events build an ecosystem where trusted capital providers and domestic companies can engage to explore mutually beneficial partnerships that are focused on national security requirements.
