Kestrel Instruments has launched its first Heat Stress Tracker Donation Program in an effort to support athletic trainers with the accurate tools needed for heat safety monitoring and heat stress illness prevention.
Protecting athletes from the risks of exertional heat stress and adverse medical conditions is an essential responsibility for athletic trainers and coaches. We recognize that while schools are committed to ensuring the health and well-being of all their students, resources are often limited in acquiring the best equipment.
The Kestrel 5400 Heat Stress Tracker Pro monitors critical local environmental conditions, including the recommended measurement of Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT), providing data for the most reliable assessment of heat stress risk.
QUALIFICATIONS
Submissions will be evaluated based on the applicant’s submitted goals, school needs, how Kestrel Instruments equipment will help, and existing barriers to purchasing.
WINNERS
Ten winners will be selected, and each will receive a Kestrel 5400 Heat Stress Tracker Prowith a vane mount and tripod.
