NEWTOWN, Conn. — NSSF®, the trade association for the firearms industry, is pleased to announce that Guns.com has agreed to sponsor the 2021 SHOT UniversitySM at the Platinum level. Headquartered in Burnsville, Minnesota, Guns.com is a firearms marketplace that partners with storefront firearms retailers to provide a robust online sales channel.
“With such a groundswell shift in how every FFL is doing business today, we couldn’t be more pleased to have this innovative, solutions-providing company lend its support to our premier educational event for FFLs and range owners,” said John McNamara, NSSF Senior Director, Range and Retail Services. “We encourage everyone attending the 2021 SHOT Show® and SHOT University to get to know the professionals at Guns.com and discover how their business can benefit from a relationship with them.”
“Guns.com is excited to be the Platinum sponsor of SHOT University for 2021,” said Jeff Tesch, Director of Business Development. “The retail sales climate has been undoubtedly brisk for most of 2020, and with this will come a new normal for retail when the COVID-19 pandemic, riots and civil unrest subside. What a great time to invest in some of the best education tailored for the firearms retailer that can help you and your staff improve your business and help prepare you for a successful 2021. We are proud to support local firearms retailers and are looking forward to SHOT 2021!”
NSSF’s 2021 SHOT Show takes place Jan. 19-22 at the Sands Expo Center and an all-new expansion to Caesars Forum. SHOT University, which takes place the day before the show opens, Jan. 18, is NSSF’s flagship educational forum for FFLs and range operators. The day-long format offers a wide range of seminars covering compliance, inventory management, marketing trends and other topics of importance to FFLs and range operators.
Attendee registration for the 2021 SHOT Show will open in early October, and those who complete their registration to attend the show can then reserve their place at SHOT University by adding that event to their shopping cart at SHOTShow.org.
