Great brass is the absolute foundation of low ES/SD handloading and great brass is what you can expect from PRIME’s new handloading component offerings.

PRIME has partnered with some of the world’s leading brass manufacturers to bring truly superior brass offerings to a new product line for PRIME.  We listened to our customers and have decided to enter the reloading component sector of the high-end ammunition market.  Factory new, large rifle primer 6.5 Creedmoor unprimed brass featuring PRIME’s headstamp that ships in BULK FOR FREE via a group purchase is our first offering.  Because we strongly recommend resizing your new brass before your first loading and then annealing correctly through the life of your brass we ship orders for FREE in loose BULK packaging to save you money.

All PRIME flash holes are free of burrs and centered in the case in primer pockets that are extremely consistent.  If the flash hole is off-center the powder column will not ignite evenly as the hot gases produced by the primer will enter the powder column offset from the center. A clean flash hole in a consistent primer pocket is necessary for repeatable accuracy.

A very consistent internal case volume is crucial to realizing the full potential of your rifle. PRIME works with leading brass manufacturers that develop proprietary equipment, processes, and ultra-precision tooling to produce extremely consistent internal capacities – not only within the same production lot but also between differing lots.

Inconsistent neck tension will produce inconsistent bullet velocities, which affects a bullet’s point of impact.  Proper neck tension is critical to ensuring the consistent release of the bullet from the case. To ensure the most consistent neck tension possible PRIME recommends running the brass through a sizing mandrel prior to seating the bullet.

If you are willing to make the investment in time & money to purchase the proper equipment and then learn and follow all the steps necessary to get the most out of your handloading then great brass matters and PRIME is now proud to offer it as a stand-alone product.
