Kestrel Heat Stress Tracker Donation Program
Submission Deadline: August 6th, 2021
The Kestrel® Instruments Heat Stress Tracker Donation Program is back again for 2021! With exertional heat stroke as one of the three leading causes of death in sports, heat safety remains a top priority for athletic trainers and coaches. Research shows that onsite WBGT measurement is the most reliable way to monitor the environment and assess heat stress risk. The Kestrel 5400 Heat Stress Tracker offers extremely accurate WBGT monitoring for preventing heat-related illness or injury. The free Kestrel LiNK companion app makes it easy to log, manage, and export practice or game day reports.
The Kestrel 5400 Heat Stress Tracker Pro monitors critical local environmental conditions, including the recommended measurement of Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT), providing data for the most reliable assessment of heat stress risk.
Submissions will be evaluated based on the applicant’s submitted goals, school needs, how Kestrel Instruments equipment will help, and existing barriers to purchasing.
Ten winners will be selected, and each will receive a Kestrel 5400 Heat Stress Tracker Pro with a vane mount and tripod.
Must receive entries by August 6th, 2021, at 11:59 PM EST.
The Kestrel 5400 Heat Stress Tracker is trusted
