Just in time for Christmas and Year’s End, my new Second Edition of Vickers Guide: 1911 (Volume 1) and (Volume 2) has arrived at our warehouse, and both volumes are now shipping! We have a lot of backorders to fill, so though there is no guarantee that we can get you these books in time for Christmas, we will do our best to get them to you as quickly as reasonably possible!
These two new 1911 books took on a life of their own, becoming MUCH bigger animals than I ever could have ever imagined when first setting out on the path to reprint the sold-out First Edition of the 1911 Book.
It’s amazing to think that, although we reprinted two sold-out books in 2021 [Vickers Guide: Kalashnikov (Volume 1) and Vickers Guide: AR-15 (Volume 1)], we actually haven’t released a new title since around 13 months ago — but we can assure you that these two new 1911 Books are going to prove to be well worth the wait!
Standard and Slipcase Edition 1911 Books are shipping now, and I will be signing Signature Edition 1911 Books the week of December 13 – so expect Signature Edition 1911 Books to begin shipping shortly thereafter.
We have LOTS of backorders to work our way through, and many of the orders are fairly complicated, so we ask for your patience in getting these books out the door. There are no guarantees that they will be delivered to you in time for Christmas, so if you absolutely need a 1911 Book by that time, please give your purchase careful consideration.
