I’ll have to admit to never having heard of SAR USA until I found out that the Auburn, Alabama company is the sole importer of Sarsilmaz Silah Sanayi of Istanbul Turkey, one of the oldest if not the oldest firearm manufacturers in the world tracing its origins to 1880 a.d. They are a supplier to the Turkish military and N.A.T.O and a leading manufacturer of pistols, shotguns, SMG, assault rifles and machineguns.
I was looking forward to checking out IVY’s med kit and the SAR9 pistol…
I was impressed with the SAR9, polymer frame striker fired pistol, customizable grip that has a nice angle, it ships with 3 side panels and 3 interchangeable backstraps very similar to the HK VP9, grip texture is very nice, slide serrations front and back, external manual safety and trigger safety and 17+1 rounds capacity. The trigger breaks cleanly with a nice audible reset. Overall it’s an outstanding pistol with a street price ranging from mid $300s to $499 depending the model you choose.
