A Girl & A Gun Founder Announces Retirement
AUSTIN TX – AGirlandAGun.org – Julianna Crowder hosted the first A Girl & A Gun (AG & AG) Girls Night Out on February 28, 2011. She partnered with Robyn Sandoval, and together they grew AG & AG to be the nation’s premier women’s training organization. Crowder notified AG & AG members that Thursday was her last day with the organization.
“Today June 30, 2022, is a day I knew would come, and can say with a full and peaceful heart that my time as President of A Girl & A Gun Women’s Shooting League has come to a close,” said Crowder. “I will forever be the proud Founder of this organization, an organization that breaks barriers on the daily!”
AG & AG events are successful stepping-stones for thousands of women entering the shooting community by fostering their love of shooting with caring and qualified instructors who coach them. AG & AG breaks barriers for women and girls in self-defense, and in pistol, rifle, and shotgun shooting sports by welcoming beginners to learn the basics of safe and accurate shooting and providing experienced shooters with advanced-level opportunities.
“I will be forever grateful to Julianna for her creative passion that sparked our league,” said Robyn Sandoval, Executive Director. “She changed my life and the lives of so many other women, who sought firearms instruction, but instead found a life of wonder that they never knew was possible.”
Sandoval continued, “I look forward to continuing our shared mission of providing quality firearms training and camaraderie to women throughout the country. I am excited to witness Julianna’s next adventure and am proud that she will always be a part of the A Girl & A Gun sisterhood.”
AG & AG has members in all 50 states and hosts recurring Girl’s Nights Out at hundreds of ranges throughout the United States.
