THE BARRETT 2023 TRAINING SCHEDULE IS FILLING UP
Barrett’s training department is ready to take you to the next level. Learn the intricacies of long-range shooting and maintain your Barrett rifles at an armorer level. Offering shooting courses at locations around the country, as well as armorer courses at the Murfreesboro, Tennessee, factory, Barrett has the course to fit your large-caliber training needs. Courses are only available with use of a personal or rented Barrett firearm.

Please make plans to purchase ammo ahead of time as we are not able to source ammo for each student. Rental rifles from Barrett still include ammo. If you are planning to ship your ammo to the training facility please make sure it’s scheduled to arrive at least 3 days in advance. Additional accessories such as cleaning supplies, shooting mats, drag bags, accessory rails, bag riders & rear bags are also available though Barrett and should be secured as needed prior to the course start.
LIVE FIRE SHOOTING COURSES
LONG RANGE 50
A 3 1/2 day course for .50 BMG and .416 Barrett calibers only that teaches shooters the fundamentals of marksmanship and introduces components of successful long range shooting including wind estimation, ballistics, and data collection. Long Range 50 is a learning experience for both the new and experienced shooters at distances up to 1000 yards.
PRECISION RIFLE
A three day course for MRAD / MK22/ SMR / 98B in your caliber of choice that teaches shooters the fundamentals of marksmanship and introduces components of successful long range shooting. Participants will be challenged by moving throughout a course of fire to engage in targets out to 1000 yards which include steel and paper exercises.
MOUNTAIN PRECISION RIFLE
An advanced three day course for MRAD / MK22 / SMR / 98B in your caliber of choice set to challenge a shooter both physically and mentally by engaging targets using tripods and natural terrain to include high angles, cross canyon engagements, advanced wind reading and data collection.
Barrett Range Day
(Former Students Only)
A two day course Barrett Range Day (Former Students Only) will be a “class” offered by Barrett to allow former students to have full use (under RSO supervision) of the ranges we use for Training Classes. This is suited for repeat students or those who just wish to shoot their rifles at distance

ARMORER COURSES
MODEL 82A1/M107A1
This two day course covers operational theory, troubleshooting and in-depth maintenance procedures covering all 82/107 series rifles. Upon successful completion of the course, each student is presented with an armorer certification which is valid for three years.
MRAD Armorer
This one day course covers operational theory, troubleshooting and in-depth maintenance procedures. Upon successful completion of the course, each student is presented with a manufacturer armorer certification which is valid for three years.
MODEL 99/95 ARMORER
This one day Course covers everything needed to keep Barrett bolt action rifles in top operating condition including operational theory, troubleshooting and in-depth maintenance procedures for the Model 95 and Model 99™ rifles. Upon successful completion of the course, each student is presented with a certification which is valid for three years.
