Hand Built Nighthawk Custom Double Stack Pistols
With capacity continuing to increase as one of the determining factors on what pistol to purchase, Nighthawk Custom is proud to offer a whole lineup of hand built double stack pistols. Whether it is one of our dedicated double stack models, or a single stack model that has been upgraded to double stack, we’ve got the capacity to meet your needs. Chambered exclusively in 9mm, this allows for a 17 +1 capacity.
The Double Stack Upgrade
Any of our 5” Government models or 4.25” Commander models, with the exception of the Agent 2 and Thunder Ranch Combat Special models, may be upgraded to a double stack frame. In the photo above, you can see the Vice President model in both a single stack and a double stack configuration. Upgrading a model to a double stack configuration takes your 9mm capacity from 10+1 up to 17+1, making worries of capacity a thing of the past.
The Double Stack Upgrade features a fully machined billet steel frame and an aircraft grade aluminum grip with an option of a traditional texture, or the new aggressive grip treatment. The mainspring housing receives the same treatment for full 360-degree coverage. The integrated magwell allows for fast and easy reloading while keeping the clean and classy look.
New for 2023, we have just released an all-new aggressive grip texture for new Nighthawk Custom double stack pistols. This aggressive grip is designed to offer a rock-solid grip on the pistol in all environments and situations. Just like the standard grip texture, the new aggressive grip is fully machined from a billet of aluminum. It is then anodized which will give you a lifetime of performance and durability. You can be certain your grip will be secure with our new aggressive grip treatment. No matter what grip texture you choose, the double stack option is a $650 upgrade.
